  Today we are going to stay at the Kahala Hotel & Resort and get more spa treatments. Why so many spa treatments you ask, well- we spent much of our lives working and wishing we could indulge in relaxing treatments and since we are receiving sooooo much money we want to indulge! We'll get an ocean view room and since it requires a 2 night stay I guess we'll have to just do that...so we will! With 2 nights purchased and all food, drinks, entertainment, spa treatments we will probably still have about $48,000 left.   Today is day 2 in Maui and the beauty here is just amazing. Because of the recommendations found online and around town my husband and I decided to rent a car and take a drive on the Road to Hana. According to US News Travel Section , "The Road to Hana is a scenic highway that twists through lush rainforest, cascading waterfalls and past Maui's dramatic northeast coastline...Despite all the hype and mental preparation, travelers are regularly surprised by the drive's beauty.   Today my husband and I came to the realization that the weather is most likely not going to warm up to temperatures we would like to experience in the states for the rest of our cross country road trip until about May and since we are planning on leaving for Europe in early August we are going to need to spend today planning out what's next for us. We realized we have about 42 stops left in our journey across the United States to have stepped foot on the soil of each state- so some states may very well have to wait until after we get back from Europe. As I mentioned in a previous post, it's kind of funny to me how the more money my husband and I receive, the more we see that we don't need nearly as much as we thought we did to make our dreams come true. Sure, a lot of luxurious things are exciting and would be nice, but the further I get into this game the more I'm learning that what I really want in life to be happier is to have enough money to travel and see the world and to be with my husband and have as much fun as possible all the time. All the luxurious stuff is just a bonus in this game.   Jeremy and I are over the cold! So, we're going to leave the freezing temps today! We're going to give away all of our clothes except for a pair to wear today. We are also going to give away our car. Why? Because today we are flying to Hawaii! Now, we had planned on traveling to California by car and THEN flying to Hawaii, but the cold is just tooo much for us right now. So we are going to Hawaii for at least a month! Maybe we will just drive from California BACK. LOL We're going to travel first class from Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts to Honolulu, Hawaii and will be flying ALL day. My husband Jeremy and I are here at Martha's Vineyard for night two of three at Thorncroft Inn for a weekend of cold relaxation. We are loving the fireplace in our room so much that we plan to spend a lot of time inside again today. We'll do a little bit of site seeing but all this travel is beginning to get to us.
